4Q Compass is a personal journaling and self-reflection app. Your privacy is not just respected — it is built into the architecture of the app itself.
Every journal entry, reflection, score, personal detail, and profile photo you add to 4Q Compass is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. Nothing is transmitted to any server — not ours, not anyone else's.
4Q Compass does not collect, process, or share any personal data. There are no user accounts, no sign-ups, no cloud sync, and no backend infrastructure that receives your data.
If you choose to add a profile photo, the app requests access to your photo library solely to let you select an image. The photo is stored locally on your device only and is never uploaded or shared.
The app contains no analytics tools, no advertising frameworks, and no third-party SDKs that collect or transmit data. We have no visibility into how you use the app.
You can export all your data at any time from within the app as a JSON file, and import it back if needed. Deleting the app removes all data from your device permanently.
4Q Compass does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. Because no data leaves your device, the app is safe for all ages.
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use of the app after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
