What success really means
Success is leading the life you truly want, anchored in who you authentically are.

The life you truly want is your vision. Who you authentically are is your values. Success isn’t reaching someone else’s summit — it’s leading a life that is deliberately, recognizably yours.

Direction & Anchor

Vision & Values

Living deliberately requires clarity on two things: where you are heading, and what grounds you.

Vision

The direction

The picture of the life you intend to build — and the person you intend to become. Vision is what turns disconnected effort into a coherent direction: the difference between being busy and being on your way somewhere.

Values

The anchor

What matters most to you — the commitments you are unwilling to trade, whatever the reward. Clarifying your values is what lets you hold steady when circumstances push against you. The stronger the foundation, the higher you can climb.

Discover before you acquire.  Almost everything you need to lead a life that is yours is already in you — waiting to be found, not bought. Discover what you want and who you are first, and the life you build stays your own.
Where to point your effort

Your Sweet Spot

Vision gives direction. Values keep you grounded. Your sweet spot is where who you are turns into what you do — and how you make a living.

Four overlapping circles — your strengths, passions, earning power, and impact — glowing where they meet at the center, your Sweet Spot.

Your strengths

What you’re genuinely good at — what comes more naturally to you than to most.

Your passions

What lights you up — what you love, where the hours pass unnoticed.

Your earning power

What someone will pay you for — the difference between a hobby and a living.

Your impact

What people need or desire — solving a problem or overcoming a challenge.

Lean fully into your strengths and passions — together they make you unique, a combination no one else carries in quite the same way. Earning power and impact live a little further out, shaped in conversation with the world, so pursue them with the same curiosity you bring to knowing yourself.

How you live it

If you are wondering

A few questions

Is this an IQ test?

No. IQ here means Intellectual Growth and is a capacity you cultivate, not a test score you are issued. It’s about discovering your strengths and passions, lifelong learning and staying curious.

Is this Ikigai, the four-circle purpose diagram?

The Sweet Spot is related: strengths, passions, earning power, impact. Same family of questions. The four circles help you see where to point your effort. The 4Qs are how you live it: a life of growth, joy, energy, and freedom. Day after day.

Is this the Eisenhower urgency matrix?

No. The 4Q Framework is different. Eisenhower sorts tasks by urgent and important. These 4Q are IQ, EQ, HQ, and FQ: four intelligences for a self-directed life.

Where does my data go?

On your device. The 4Q Compass app collects nothing: no account, no cloud, no analytics. All data remains with you.
